Our AQUA BVLGARI Fragrance Oil is 98% close to the original AQUA BVLGARI perfume launched by the BVLGARI brand in 2005. It has the same notes as are present in the original scent profile. Top notes are Mandarin Orange, Orange, and Petitgrain; middle notes are Seaweed, Lavender, and Cotton Flower; base notes are Virginia Cedar, Woodsy Notes, Patchouli, Clary Sage, and Amber.
This premium oil achieves a high degree of molecular stability by utilizing a dense concentration of aroma chemicals that mimic the oceanic salinity of the original composition. Unlike ethanol-based sprays, this oil eliminates the aggressive top-note volatility, allowing the citrus and Petitgrain to transition smoothly into the heart notes without a sharp chemical spike. The integration of seaweed extracts provides a distinct ozonic texture that remains anchored to the skin via heavy molecular weight fixatives.
Fragrance Notes
- Top Notes: Mandarin Orange, Orange, Petitgrain
- Heart Notes: Seaweed, Lavender, Cotton Flower
- Base Notes: Virginia Cedar, Woodsy Notes, Patchouli, Clary Sage, Amber
How It Performs
Because this is a concentrated oil, it exhibits a linear evaporation curve. While an EDT provides a rapid, high-diffusion burst, this oil offers superior sillage control and stays close to the dermis for 10-12 hours. The lack of alcohol ensures the aromatic compounds do not dissipate prematurely, maintaining the integrity of the marine accord throughout the wear cycle.
Best Times to Wear
This fragrance is optimized for high-temperature environments. It performs best in 25°C to 35°C weather, where the skin’s natural heat aids the diffusion of the heavier base notes like Amber and Cedar. It is ideal for professional daytime settings and casual summer use.
Pros & Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Extreme longevity (10+ hours) | Reduced initial projection radius |
| Non-drying on skin | Heavier feel on application site |
| Accurate marine profile | Lacks the alcohol ‘hit’ |
How It Compares
The primary difference lies in the diffusion rate. The original EDT utilizes a 80% alcohol base to force the top notes into the air quickly. This oil version contains no alcohol, resulting in a smoother, more sophisticated evolution where the ‘dark’ marine elements are more prominent than the sharp citrus opening.
What Customers Say
“The seaweed note is spot on. It lasts all day on my wrists even in the heat.”
“Much smoother than the spray. It doesn’t have that stinging alcohol smell at the start.”
