Typical usage
Typical level in a fragrance concentrate: 0.1–2%. These are starting points, not limits. In finished products, dose the complete fragrance oil at the normal level for that product (for example around 15–25% in an alcohol perfume, 6–10% in candles and 1–3% in soap).
Blends well with
Vanillin, Coumarin, Ethyl Maltol, Benzoin, Tonka and musks. See all aroma chemicals.
Tips
- Start low: it is about three times stronger than Vanillin.
- Discolours soap and lotions to brown.
