Typical usage

Typical level in a fragrance concentrate: 2–20%. These are starting points, not limits. In finished products, dose the complete fragrance oil at the normal level for that product (for example around 15–25% in an alcohol perfume, 6–10% in candles and 1–3% in soap).

Tips

• Combine with Linalyl Acetate for a lavender or bergamot effect.
• Store tightly closed: oxidised linalool can irritate skin.

• Follow the IFRA Standards in force for your product category and check the current limit before you finalise a formula. It is a declarable fragrance allergen in the EU, so list it on cosmetic labels above the legal threshold.
